Safety Measures: These activities have a risk of danger, but Lane Poole Park has taken this into account. All of their courses and flying foxes have been certified by professional engineers and a leading arborist, all of which conduct regular surveys. Staff members conduct daily safety checks. Every participant is fitted with a harness, gloves and a helmet, and is given a training session on how to use the equipment. Staff are on the ground fully equipped, ready to rescue any participant if necessary. The park is safe, but you need to do your bit too, by listening to staff members and obeying what they say.

What to Wear: Those participating should wear comfortable clothes and closed-in shoes. Long hair must be tied back. Shorts are allowed, but if they are too short the harness may be uncomfortable. Skirts and dresses are not advised but are allowed if they are worn with leggings. You can bring your own helmet camera, as long as the mounting strap will fit their helmets. GoPro Helmets are available for an additional hire.
