HYDE PARK

Hyde Park is a beautiful and large Park with playgrounds, lakes, and plenty of grassed areas.

Playgrounds: Water Playground:

To tun the water on, you must press a button located on a green post with a blue post. To save water, the water only runs for 5 minutes at a time, but can be turned again on as soon as the 5 minutes are up.

At the Water Playground, there are spray streams of water coming from the ground, buckets over head that tip when the reach a certain water level, splashing excited kids below, and water jet cannons.

There isn't much shade around the water playground area. There is a gazebo like picnic shade a small distance away, and a large tree, but it's recommended to bring a hat and sunscreen.

Hyde Park- Adventure WA

Rating: 4 Stars

Hyde Park is absolutely gorgeous, but does have a downside. The playgrounds are aimed at children, but excitable and active toddlers can have a risk of getting hurt, as the park is close to Vincent Street, a busy road, and there are also lakes which can be dangerous. Still, Hyde Park is a great place to have a picnic and a play. It is also quite popular for weddings!
